About me
I am Dr. Marie-Ange Eyoum Tagne, a Silicon Valley tech executive, board member, founder, and the first African-born woman to earn a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley. I have led innovation at Meta, Yahoo, Amazon, Roku and Intel, and I’m the author of the award-winning memoir For Such a Time As This – From Humble Roots in Africa to Silicon Valley Leadership.
I empower leaders who refuse to accept limits, those who turn challenges into opportunities, and build legacies that truly matter. My journey from humble beginnings in Cameroon to leading billion-user products in Big Tech shows what’s possible when resilience meets purpose. I don’t just share stories; I spark transformation.
